Out of Line is a publication design project that brings together the imaginative poetry of Kate Murray and the playful illustrations of Doug Gordon. The focus of the project was to create an engaging and visually dynamic reading experience, exploring typography, composition, and page layout to enhance the storytelling and bring each poem to life. Through thoughtful placement of text and imagery, the publication balances creativity and readability, allowing the words and illustrations to interact seamlessly while capturing the charm, humour, and wonder of the original work.
